The collection titled Sacred Nature is designed for the spring/summer season. It features soft, comfortable silhouettes paired with bold prints and interesting details. The collection’s inspiration is taken by the journey that travelers take throughout the Kii Mountain Range, located in Japan. The pilgrimage demonstrates a fusion of Shinto and Buddhism. Shintoism focuses on nature while Buddhism teaches wisdom and inner peace. Along the Pilgrimage, three major shrines are found throughout the course that combines both religions. A bold chrysanthemum flower can be found on many of the tapestries located in the shrines. The travelers must travel through dense cedar forests and moss covered steps to experience a spiritual journey. The silhouettes are inspired by modernized traditional Japanese streetwear. Inspiration from the silhouette of the mountain scape and the chrysanthemums are found in patches throughout the collection.
