The Ballad of Piggotty Wood is a tongue in cheek but affectionate look at the kind of tales which grabbed my attention as a child. Such stories were dark, atmospheric, always quirky and more often than not created by the Grimms or Smallfilms legends Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin!
After years of turning agency scamps into 3D visuals, Piggotty Wood was a spare time project born from the desire for more practice in 2D painting with ArtRage. The first edition published via Blurb  immediately made staff pick and enjoyed such a great reception it has been reformatted and repainted for several digital platforms, starting with an iBook for the iPad. These samples are from the newly released second edition.
