The Passionate Heart

Q: How would you describe your heart?
A: Explosive, quick to love, sensitive.
Q: What makes it so?
A: I'm a very passionate person, I put my heart into all that I do. The only way to lead others is by doing so with your heart. I also included sensitive because putting my heart out there so much does allow people to take advantage and hurt my heart.

The Machine Heart

Q: How would you describe your heart?
A: My heart? It's what keeps me going, what keeps me alive.
Q: How so?
A: It pumps blood constantly, if it stopped or skipped I would stop too. It's job is like that of a car engine, if it functions properly the car runs fine, if not then the car stops and gets taken to a mechanic to be fixed if it can be.

The Stone Heart

Q: How would you describe your heart?
A: Well honestly.. It's protected and guarded.
Q: Why is it like that?
A: Well I've been hurt in the past so I tend to put a wall up and not let people in. It takes a lot for me to let someone know how I really feel.

The Viewers Heart

Q: How would you describe your heart?
A: I have a full heart, I'm full of love. Like I look out for everyone and try and make sure their needs are met.
Q: Why do you think you look out for others like that?
A: I think it's because [my aunt] always made sure everyone else was good before she was and it stayed with me.

The Givers Heart

Q: How would you describe your heart?
A: Metaphorically I would like to think I have a big heart, I love sharing that love with others that stems from the Lord's love for me.
Q: How do you go about spreading that love, what does that look like?
A: I spread that love by listening more than I speak, showing others I care what they have to say and who they are by giving them that intention. Love is when you put others before yourself, with their best interest at heart and not your own. The perfect example of what love looks like is Jesus on the cross.

The Teacher's Heart

Q: How would you describe your heart?
A: My heart is full of love for... math, I love my job even though it's demanding at times.
Q: How do you describe it when it comes to your job?
A: I realized that teaching is my passion and that being a role model for younger students is what I was meant to do. I show my love for math through my teaching. For example, I dance around the room and act extremely goofy to make math more enjoyable.

The Nurse's Heart

Q: How would you describe your heart?
A: Physically my heart is keeping me alive. Metaphorically my heart is full of love and compassion for people (hence the reason I'm a nurse).
Q: How do you show that love and compassion to your patients?
A: Be there for them physically and emotionally, I let patients talk to me about anything that's on their mind, listen to their life stories, and show an interest in what they want to tell me. I'm there for families when their loved ones are dying. I make patients comfortable and try to ease their worries while they are in the hospital.
