Go Back to the 1900s

  • Go Back to the 1900s

Old photos of my grandparents were collected and then transferred using intaglio ink, a process to trace back the old times and reserve their faded memories. With this project, I want to reveal the sense of loss, estrangement and dislocation of the last generation of people, who are becoming the strangers and outsiders in the new era of China.
