料理を想像させるお皿。
ここに並べたのは、お皿のデザイン案で、
クライアントの都合で残念ながらボツになったものです。
当時、授業で「点線面」を課題に、学生に色々トライしてもらっていました。
いわゆる空間を把握するためのレッスンです。
その制作風景と作品をアップしたのを知人が見て、
これはお皿のデザインに応用できそうだと仕事の依頼が来ました。
当たり前に使いやすいのは、無地の皿。
あるいは、お花模様などの具象の絵がワンポイントで入った皿。
でも、それでは面白くない。
「このお皿にどんな料理を盛りつけよう」
お皿から新しい料理をインスパイヤしてもらえるようなデザインを。
そう思いながらデザインしました。
