Hair Cradle"Crazy Hair" workshop at Domaine de Boisbuchetwith CuldeSac and Studio Marisol
The design academy at Domaine de Boisbuchet is the result of a cooperation between Vitra Design Museum and the Centre Georges Pompidou, C.I.R.E.C.A.
In the summer of 2010, the multi disciplinary design studio CuldeSac and the hairdressing studio Marisol offered the workshop "Crazy Hair".
It's goal was using hair as the main working and inspirational raw material. They wanted the students to experience the unique hair propierties in order to build a team project.
During a week, a baby hair cradle was created from concept to completion. After several discussions about the structure and the drawing, the tireless crew took over the challenge and gave birth a touchy and appealing rocking cradle.
