Activity 2 - Principles of Animation

Part 1: 
Squish & Squash, Arc, Straight Ahead & Pose to Pose, Slow in & Slow out

Squish & Squash is the process of  giving characteristics to objects as they are touching a surface.
Arc is the process of which the animation introduces an arc motion.
Straight Ahead is the process where you would animate in a continuous motion.
Pose to Pose is planning out the story with a beginning, middle and end points.
Slow in & Slow out is when an object starts off slow, quickly accelerates, and to finish off slow.
Part 2:
Timing, Exaggeration, Anticipation & Staging

Timing is the speed of an action or movement.
Exaggeration the process of representing an object in a uncommon way.
Anticipation is the action of waiting or expecting something to happen.
Staging is a way to direct the viewer's eyes on different events in the story.
Part 3:

Follow Through, Solid Drawing, Appeal & Secondary Action

Follow Through is "the continuing of an action or task to its conclusion." -Google
Solid Drawing is "taking into account forms in three-dimensional space, or giving them volume and weight"-Wikipedia
Appeal is to be attractive or interesting.
Secondary Action is an action that results directly from another action.
