The doors are opening on an indistinguishable packed crowd with whom you are going to « enjoy » your ride. Hopefully, thanks to reading little poem boards displayed in the train... you can let your mind « break free ». Is there another visual way to escape this tedious, boring and repetitive rhythm ?
Taking the idea of the poetry boards a little bit further, MBD, an RATP imaginary department, provides some entertainment to subway users in order to take them out from their daily routine : commute-work-sleep (in French Métro- Boulot-Dodo). MBD will broadcast a series of 3 humorous, poetic or offbeat movie clips linked to the Parisian subway’s atmosphere. As an introduction to this universe, the first movie clip takes a humorous glance at 4 typical subway users’ little habits. Then as an antidote to annoying sounds, aggressive lights or the suffocating atmosphere, the second movie clip stages an aerial graceful ballet dancer delicately moving through the subway. Finally, the last movie clip focuses on a dreamer. He is the one who lets his mind drift off wondering the life of the other passengers...
