Karoo is an Australian Mixed Martial Arts supply store that required new branding. The challenge was to make a brand that would look strong, defiant and that would show discipline. This is why it was decided to use a kangaroo for the logo, since it is indigenous to Australia and it is popular for its kickboxing-like fighting nature.
For the colour schemeit was used the colour red for being a bold colour and to represent focus. It was also decided to use a shield shape around the logo since MMA is not just about fighting but also about self-defense. The metal texture was used along the branding to represent strength and grunge letters to complement them.
