Each bowl comes from the lathe in a uniform shape. As the weather and seasons change so does the wood, deforming the shape. These irregularities in form create unpredictable wobble patterns. Every time the bowls are tipped, spun and rocked, they respond slightly differently.

The now familiar, but always evolving chorus created by the rhythmic oscillation of the bowl rocking and wobbling back and forth hint at small mysteries that unfold with each encounter. It is the ability for variation and the ability to change that draws us back to the bowls again and again.
