The Ladle Chair
Constructed entirely out of pine 1x2s with a custom cushion. Not the most comfortable. May have been inspired by traditional Japanese ladles.
The back and the seat of the chair are attached by two prongs extending from the former and slotting in underneath the latter. The weight of the sitter tightens the fit between the two parts.
The two parts of the chair actually come apart. Helpful for shipping.
The silhouette from the front remains symmetrical.
