for Interactive Design I, Fall 2016

Project Description:
Interactive storytelling takes traditional elements of journalism — words, pictures, data, videos, etc. — and uses web technologies to blend them into an immersive and unique online experience, often allowing the audience to interact with the content. You will be creating an "interactive" page for a feature article and apply interactive storytelling "effects." The effects should be used in a way to enhance the content of the story and to compliment the visual elements from the article.

For this project, I created a storytelling website based on artist, James Turrell. As Turrell works with light and color, I built my website to include bright colors, text and images that slowly fade in, as well as animated gradients. This site uses waypoints and animations.
Created for a course at Kutztown University, for educational purposes only.
