Mexico is extremely rich in tradition, colors and crafts. This mixture has influenced our way of living for centuries, but these traditions are slowly disappearing as the artisans leave their traditions and towns and they move to the city. Piltsintli is a seat that combine contemporary design with tradicional materials and artesian tecnics.

The seat is made from plywood, an steel frame, "rebozos" and "caña".Rebozos are colorful pieces of fabric that are used by mexican women to carry the newborn or baby.Caña is a root that is braided in several styles providing a confortable seating .

Piltsintli means "baby" in náhuatl and the concept was to mix the rebozos (where babys are carried) with tradicional seats.
