SKETCH
In this project, I need to design an 8.9" tablet with the 10.1" keyboard. Thus, I spent most of the time studying the holder structure and the design style between the tablet and the holder. To make the balance, it's important to get the right proportion and also keep the device slim.
DESIGN DETAIL
I created a recurve surface on both edges of the tablet and the holder, aiming to present a connection between these 2 different parts. The front side of the tablet has 2 big sound bars, I create a texture pattern to cover the empty area and hide the speaker opening into the pattern. The pattern also gave users a nice feeling of grip when handling it.
