After completing Rhino Self-Portrait, our second project of the semester served as an extension of the first.
Students were to revisit the first assignment to create an object that would expand on the drawing. We were
encouraged to further represent the 2D form of our 3D scan and seek for ways it could be depicted in 3D form.
During the first critique, many commented on how the orientation of the scan created by the Xbox 360 exhibited
a fun illusion because of it’s fuzzy effect. Therefore, I wanted to focus on the distortion of the lines for my object.
