This project consisted in to create an approximate 2-minute version of the Little Red cap tale by the brothers Grimm. It was my first time reading this version of the tale. In the process of writing down the narration I made sure all important aspects of the story came across my audio version. I had the opportunity to involve other characters to the story making the narration more engaging. Elements like music and sound effect leverage the quality of my work bringing the story to life.
In this final version all the elements came together to bring this story to life. The combination of music, narration and sound effect take you to time and space allowing you to create a mental picture of the story, leveraging the audience’s experience.

With this first version I had the opportunity to explore different techniques. Since there was no access to a professional recording studio, I recorded the voices in areas that would help with the reflection of the sound. Garage band was a great resource to edit the recordings and to improve the quality of the sound.
