In this project I tried to innovate aspects of the skateboard. The aesthetic of the whole board is inspired by 80s supercars. The deck features a uniquely shaped kicktail which can also be used as a handle while carrying the board.

The trucks are inspired by the Ackerman steering systems used in cars, which is why I named them Ackerman Steering Trucks. Functionally, this steering system allows the deck to move side to side in relation to the trucks while turning, giving the rider a surfy feel that is lacked in conventional skateboards.
