Telepresence Robot
Telerobotics is the area of robotics concerned with the control of semi-autonomous robots from a distance, chiefly using Wireless Network (like Wi Fi, Bluetooth, the Deep Space Network, and similar) or tethered connections. It is a combination of two major subfields, teleoperation and telepresence.
Perpose
The perpose behide this robot is to educate children in India, where they can get education easily with the help of this Robot without any guide, This project was a collaborative project with IIT, where i worked as a Assistent Project Scientist and this project could be done in a supervision of prof. Charu Monga.
Concept
I tried to make it very user friendly and easy to use and easily communicable , and the shape of this Robot is picked up from a Hansa (Swan) , which is Mount of Saraswati ,and saraswati is the Holy Goddess of Knowledge and education in Indian Mythology.
And in the other hand it has very round shape so that children can find it very friendly.
The hight of this Robot is 4 feet .
