In the fall I will be attending the Rhode Island School of Design to pursue graphic design.

These are 2 posters from a conceptual branding project I did from when the SF MOMA reopened earlier this year. The curvature and layering of the design is inspired by the use of shadows in the architecture of the new museum. The color is inspired by the museums new modern aesthetic and identity.
I made this album cover for a hip-hop group called Just Another Crew whose laid back yet upbeat style influenced the color and minimal free-form design. I painted the feature typography with acrylic paint and scanned it.
A concept ad I created for Nike's skateboarding division. Utilizing bright color, abstract design, and original street photography to evoke a modern streetwear aesthetic.
Poster I created for my school’s AP art show.
Zine created and printed as part of my final project at the California College of the Arts Pre-College Graphic Design program.
For this poster assignment, I had to design a poster that flipped a popular slogan or logo to convey a personal political statement. I chose the Allstate insurance slogan "You're in good hands" as well as their logo, altering both to represent a message about the mass incarceration of African-Americans.
This is a book cover re-design assignment from the CCA Pre-College Graphic Design program.
I drew the mandala pattern in Illustrator and laser cut the pattern into the side of a wooden box that I designed and built. The candle holder was designed so that light shines through the pattern.
I painted the backgrounds of these posters with acrylic paint using a marbling technique. Then I scanned and combined them with photos I took, by using photoshop. Each painting was made to represent the photo. The two outside paintings were made on saran wrap and the middle was made on canvas. All posters in this series are red because florescent red is the overwhelming quality of light in all these photos.
This summer I had a job shadow at the SFO Airport Museum. They asked me to design the title treatment for their up coming exhibit entitled, "The Mysterious Talking Board Ouija and Beyond". On top is the typography I designed, and the bottom is the title treatment they ended up using for the exhibit.
The top drawing is a 10 minute and the lower two are are both 20 minute drawings. All drawings are of the same live model from my figure drawing class.
A sheet of characters designed to illustrate the word "imbroglio".
Figure ground assignment for the letter "L". Uppercase letters on top, lowercase on the bottom.
Ring I made in the CCA metal workshop.
This clothing was made using silk screens, drawing fluid, and screen filler.
This zine focuses on the quality of light in photographed neon lighting and signs. I altered the color of the photographs to express an exaggerated version of their quality of light, either red or blue. The first half of the book is red, the color transitions to blue at the middle binding.
This personal exploration project from my senior AP art class, illustrates different types of light through movement. I printed 10 8x8 B/W photos that I took of neon signs and fluorescent lights, then dragged them across the scanner while setting the scanner to color. This resulted in RGB splits where the scanner was struggling to keep up with the movement of the image. I then printed out the resulting 30 17x11 scans and cut out key elements of the photos using an X-Acto knife. I then used pieces from all 30 photos to make this physical 30x22 collage.
