One of my first year BA Graphic Design projects was typeface design project. The brief asked us to revive typefaces that have not been digitalised yet, working on the basis of interesting typography found outside and in old printed materials.

This typeface was recreated from metal type found on a gravestone in southern Germany.

This typeface was recreated from a type found in a 70s Pins and Needles magazine from the UK.
