Composed of simple 4-patch quilt blocks
Livened it up a bit with the border. Added a gold embroidery stitch to give it pop.
The gold embroidery stitch on the border comes through to the back of the quilt creating a little more interest on the back.
This is a simple 4 patch quilt. The most important factors were to consider the interior design of the living room this quilt would live in and ensure that it would blend in seamlessly. I livened it up slightly with the border, and used an embroidery stitch with gold thread to give it a little more pop. I have been exploring how to bring more creativity to the back of quilts, and using that embroidery stitch did the trick to mirror a bit of the border onto the back.
