Universal Transom Design
For this project I was asked to design a low cost, simple and safe adapter for all of Native Watercraft, Propel model kayaks so that select off-the-shelf trolling motors could be retrofitting quickly. It worked so well, it eliminated the need for a rudder and even allowed the boat to move sideways.
From concept to functional prototype, the design only took about 2 weeks and the prototype became the production reference at the 2015 I-Cast show in Orlando, Florida.
