Started by creating a bicone and then split it vertically. Hollowed out the center to make the sphericon a vessel. 

Then rotated one half of the bicone 90 degrees.

The brass wires act as clasps to hold the sphericon together.  

When rolled the tracks create a sphericon construction net.
