This poster was to be made using only type or simple graphics. I chose Beethoven to be the center of this particular music festival.

There was a period of Beethoven's life where he seriously contemplated suicide, due to the loss of his hearing. While he was in recovery, doctor's suggested that he go off to the country to get away from his life in the city, as a composer. During this time, he wrote a suicide letter to his brothers. While he never committed suicide, the dark madness he went through was clearly reflected in some of his works.

Using the text of Beethoven's Heiligienstadt Testament, I was able to create a portrait of Beethoven.
