PSA Poster Project
This project is a PSA (public service announcement) poster for the ad council, for this project I was given the opportunity to choose a topic that is an issue in the world today and that I am passionate about and create two posters. One poster would be a screen print poster consisting of only up to 3 colors and the other would be a physical poster in which I create the image on the poster in real life. For this project I chose to do food waste because I believe it is a real issue around the world that can be worked on, I see it all the time in my apartment and I know it happens elsewhere. I spent several days of this project just on the research and discovering what there is to knew about food waste and what kind of a real threat it is, I spent time coming up with sketches and ideas that would influence my audience based on visuals alone so as to draw them in and persuade them, and then I finally executed my ideas into a real poster in which I expressed the feelings that I had about food waste in images that I hope will be able to influence others.
