Embracement is my concept and it is represented in two sweeping arches that create a cocoon-like environment defined by light and shadows. The most hierarchal element is the two arches that bisect each other, creating a shared space in between. I defined the spaces with vertical panels that allow light in and follow the curves of the arches. For my ordering system, I created a ⅜ inch grid that allowed every vertical member to line up. I chose the color orange to symbolize energy and movement and a complimentary shade of blue to define the spaces. I used warm colors and wood texture to relate back to the concept of embracement
