Queby App
Queby functions as a speculative, tongue-and-cheek fetal homosexuality testing app so you can determine the likelihood of having a gay child before its birth. Queby works through a series of "pregnancy-related" questionnaires, starting mildly and turning starkly ludicrous. Queby then calculates the "probability of homosexuality," offering tips how to change the outcome and give stereotypical expectations to prepare for the child's life.
Being a gay man, I pulled from my experiences growing up to design Queby; people's pre-determinations of me after hearing my sexuality, the fear my parent's reacted with when I came out, and the odd connections, stereotypes, and misconceptions people formulate between someone's sexuality and lifestyle.
