Pattern & Repeat
This project takes inspiration from the natural patterns found on the beach. I created a series of monochromatic drawings from this beach location focusing on seaweed washed up by the sea and creatures found hidden among rocks as well as the linear patterns and interesting forms found in rocks. From my initial research and drawing I developed a repeat screen print for a 2m length of hand dyed natural silk satin.
