Happy Hearts Fund Re-building Blocks Toy
The Happy Hearts Fund works to provide a sustained response in areas affected by natural disasters. They work to improve the lives of children in these areas by restoring and providing resources.
We worked with the Happy Hearts Fund to create a product which would fundraise for the reconstruction of a kindergarten in Tk Al Mutaquien, Indonesia. The kindergarten was destroyed in a 2009 earthquake, leaving over 70 children without a place to learn. Our re-building blocks help to tell the story of Indonesia and support the re-building of the school.
The re-building blocks are made out of reclaimed, recycled natural mahogany and polar. Each set of 25 blocks are sold with an illustrated book telling the story of Tk Al Mutaquien and teaching children how to make different related shapes out of the blocks.
