Inspired by the practice in glass-blowing known as the "End of Day Marble, created by using small scraps of leftover glass incorporated into clear glass to make marbles, and an idea further developed by the installers of Dale Chihuly's pieces in creating a sculpture from scraps of other installations. 

This dress incorporated all samples I created over the course of a semester in machine knitting into clear monofilament panels and outlined in black cording.
