This structure, constructed entirely out of bent laminated Cherry from a single mold, explores radial symmetry and exponential repetition, as well as pressure within and exchanged between organic forms. It was crafted in response to the prompt to create a vessel using bent laminated pieces in the Wood I studio in RISD's Industrial Design department for Charlie Appleton.
