This beauty is in Sacred Canyon in the Flinders Ranges.

Originally photographed in 1937 by Harold Cazneaux and called "Spirit of Endurance"as a testament to its survival in a harsh environment. Every dog and his man has a crack at repeating the original but it would require some careful cloning as there is a fence that separates it from the car park.
I have long looked at this tree but never taken the time to make on image. On this particular day I was drawn to the vibrant colours of the grass (very short) and the sky with its wispy clouds.
Dull, grey overcast and a blue tint.
Another accidental exposure, not found until I was viewing the days collection.

Trees

I really like single trees, in paddocks, on hills, in streams
