For creating the identifier and its subsequent system I used the minute motifs found all around the city of Havana. As a decadent town she shows the grace of age with enhanced pride, and even the rust has a story to tell. I particularly took inspiration in the wrought iron which speaks out loud about the mastership of the almost forgotten artisans. The idea is very simple: I created a synthesized metal work and a tweaked typographical arrangement to get a dance between the text and the symbols.
