It's difficult to create an interface on a new platform, let alone if the navigation on the platform only uses gestural inputs, and there aren't other examples yet from which to learn. We were one of the five developers selected to premiere a game on the (then new) Xbox Kinnect. We pioneered gestural UI input such as the horizontal swipe-to-select, and many other UI problems Microsoft had yet to solve. I enjoyed the difficulty of this project and will look back on it as a testament to the versatile skill-set a UI designer has to have. As for the game, it gave me hours of fun, and provided me with a new confidence on the dance floor.
