This collection is a high summer story with a clean, bright & bold palette of corals; aquas; acid limes & yellows along with the seasons ubiquitous optic white. Taking print inspirations from striking ikat & block printing, simple 2 color prints & photographic prints and mixing in embellishments such as embroideries, appliqués & cut work. The shapes of this collection look at the strong sports influence & add it into a modern but relaxed tailoring story with a contemporary feel. Oversized, off the shoulder shapes sit with draped pieces; tapered & cuffed details and sweater pieces that explore proportion and timeless tailored pieces. The fabrics are a mix of luxurious silks & drapey jerseys & wovens along with the sports loopback elements and stretch pant fabrics for a sexy, modern feel. Textured rayons, sweater yarns with a sheen, tonal sequinned looks and subtle filigree laces all bring surface character to life as part of a very feminine but clean, modern collection.
