This poster is 24" x 36". Its purpose is to promote awareness of the collection of plastic and trash that has been found in the Pacific Ocean gyre. There are 5 gyres on earth, places where ocean currents meet and cause a swirling vortex of water. All of the gyres have collected large quantities of trash, but the gyre in the Pacific has collected enough trash to cover the entire state of Texas twice. It is a huge problem, that the general public is still mostly unaware of.
