This is an Reinterpretation Illustration, using watercolor through observing and sketching from an original image of an movie or a video, and reinterpret the composition with colors. In my case I used a cut scene image of the MMO role-playing game "Blade & Soul" and used a general reversal of colors to the original as the reinterpretation, from light to dark and vice versa. Because the setting is different according to the players, I changed the focus to girl in the foreground and reinterpret the rest of the middle ground and background with watercolor patterns. Here I didn't apply the spread of watercolor and used a dry brush mostly for definition of shape and form.
