Inspired by the dresses in Christopher Kane's a/w 2013 show, this dress was made from an adapted basic shift dress pattern. The looping was constructed by sandwiching elastic between ribbon folded in half and sewn in place so that it would be used as a trim. The loops were joined using a strong and invisible glue. The neckline and arms of the dress were altered later on for this final look.
