This is my young mother; from her thoughts are tortured feelings that turn into birds flying away. That turns into an image of my dad’s face with an shape/image of a bird behind. My mother says that my dad is the hawk that flies over our house so it seemed fitting. He’s flying free. It represents the love that she had for him, the initial suffering of his death, that turns into the comfort of knowing he’s flying free.
