4 Card (Simultaneous)

4 Card!
4 Card is a matching game of chance where two players duel for points. The game came from many factors, one of which was the code word: Simultaneous.

Credit for this game goes to: Nicholas Walter, Ross Accarrino.

Controls: Drag and pull.

This is still a demo, we are working towards an actual working version of the game as the game does not play the way we expected or wanted it to play. If given more time, we would work out bugs and user interface to make the game more to what we were after.
Below is an screenshot of our original idea for digital gameplay.
Here are the rules or directions for play:

Everyone gets 4 cards at beginning of game which they lay face down in front of them. Each player randomly with out looking at their cards, picks one of the four cards in front of them, and both players simultaneously slap down their chosen card, face up, playing it. Points for matching cards of shape, are awarded based on the number in the middle of the card. The player with the higher number takes the round.

Example: Player 1 plays a card with a (Square & 4) player 2 plays a card with (Square and 2) player 1 takes the 4 points, and player 2 gets nothing.

If the cards come up with different shapes, and numbers, the remaining three cards are used to decide what the final points will be. The way this is done is each player picks up their remaining cards, and holds them in their hands, so they are not seen. Then each player turns each card placing it over the original card until no cards remain in their hand. The number on the last card placed is what is awarded to the player who placed it. Now each player takes four more cards, and the next round begins.

Example:                                        p1 (Triangle 1)              p2 (Square 2)
                                                             (circle 3)                        (Square 3)
                                                              (circle 4)                         (X 2)
Points are awarded based on this card-> (x4)                              (Triangle 3)

so player 1 gets 4 points and player 2 gets 3 points.

This goes on until all cards in the master deck are taken, and then the points are added up, and the winner is the player with the most points.

Below are all the cards used in this game.

The blank and wild cards are like joker cards, they are what ever the player who places them wants them to be.

Note: The cards can become any of the four shapes, and can range from 1-4, remember matching cards is imperative, to getting points.
