Through extensive primary research with daycare employees, parents of multiple children, and low-income families, I designed a baby teether that will maintain a high level of function throughout multiple users with varying ability levels.
The final design incorporates a specific structure to the internal ring that allows for both flex and rigidity, allowing the primary user to reach the back gums and molars without presenting a choking hazard as well as making this product usable for all stages of teething. The colored grips provide tactile purchase and are filled with freezable gel for optimal pain soothing.
