Food & Beverage Outlets

As Design Manager of an Events, Catering and Retail Food & Beverage company, I created many F&B retail concepts and brands, tender responses and food outlets at Australian Airports, train stations, Melbourne Zoo and the winning concept for Wembley Stadium in the UK.
Cafe Arome: a French style cafeteria at Melbourne Airport Domestic Terminal. 2004.
Cafe Arome: logo and graphic panel. 2004.
Squeeze and Grind was the company's first big push into retail F&B, The concept was so well received with strong sales, resulting in this Juice and Espresso outlet popping up at numerous Australian Airports and was one of the initial F&B outlet built in to Southern Cross Station, Melbourne.
Responsible for creation the brand, the cheeky advertising, packaging, menu boards and wall graphics.
Launched 2002.
Billie Chu is an Asian Hawker inspired restaurant. The Billie Chu character was designed to capture the fun of eating at Billie Chu, and portray the speed in which customers—often on their way to board a flight—could expect their food to be prepared in..Launched 2004.

Brand and wall graphic design for Edith Cowan University, Cafe One. 2002.
Poster advertising the Little Lizard concept for Melbourne Zoo. 2002.
Kids lunch bag design proposal. Illustrated by hand using Indian Ink with vector typography. 2002.
Direct Mail piece sent to businesses to promote Melbourne Zoo as a conference, function and event destination.
After creating the concept, was provided access to search the photo library at Melbourne Zoo to select the most appropriate imagery.
Designed a Direct Mail Campaign to boost Christmas/end of year party bookings at Melbourne Zoo. Each piece used a different animal from the Melbourne Zoos photo library. They were designed to be folded to DL for distribution, but designed to be oversized A4 mini posters to encourage these not being thrown straight in the bin.
An example of the level of tender responses we produced. This one was for Zoos Victoria and included branding for all F&B outlets across Victoria's three Zoos, mock collateral and architect plans with a perfect bound hard cover publication. The theme of the tender response was "journey" of travelling to Australia (Healesville Sanctuary), Africa, (Werribee Open Range Zoo) and Asia (Melbourne Zoo was about to begin building their Asian themed Elephant enclosure), hence the suitcase.
