In the logo, green was used in recall of the original mall logo, and to evoke reference to the mountains surrounding the center. The color blue also represents the nature in the area and the many skylights within the mall. To create shapes that resemble the malls surroundings, the first two letters of The Malls names were distorted. The M From Montehiedra turned into mountains, and the O from outlets used as the surrounding sky.
