I began with sketched ideas of layout, beginning to figure out how I wanted to arrange the space and how much space I wanted to give different elements. After deciding on a general style I moved towards creating a style of captions. I originally thought of having them closer to the furniture, and later deciding having them in their own space was more feasible to the clean and structured aesthetic I had. Finally, I moved toward coming up with a concept for the exhibit's logo, where I really wanted to play with type.
