The Venus Project proposes an artistic point of view of the woman body in order to break taboos linked to breast cancer. This project, organized by the art center Spacejunk Lyon, aims to promote breast cancer screening among women regardless their social environment.
This year, more than 100 women took part in the project by posing bare-breast during photo shoots. Each portrait were then printed on canvases and customized by multiple artists from various backgrounds. All canvases will be saled by the end of the year in auction where all profits from the sale will benefit to Europa Donna, an organization that helps women to fight against breast cancer.
Here's my participation for the 7th Edition of the Venus Project, entitled "Time flies" and realized with ink pens.
