I'm a uniquely terrible cook. I've messed up recipes as difficult as meringue and as simple as fruit salad, caused fires big and small, and often ended up with meals that even the dog wouldn't eat. I make meals for which "food" is too generous a term.

But now I've found a way to put that talent to use: writing an illustrating a book about how not to cook.
