Hotel
One Warrington Place
The aim of this project was to convert an existing commercial building into a contemporary four star boutique hotel and to adapt it to a multi-level hospitality space concentrating on an integrated multi-level spacial plan. For the design concept ,my research of the surrounding area and vernacular architecture led me to be inspired by the brickwork .Through my sketches I was inspired by the various shapes and patterns the brickwork created and this enabled me to develop up ideas for my concept. The hotel would include a voided atrium, reception, lobby with cocktail bar, 31 double bedrooms ( all with en-suites and includes 6 wheelchair accessible rooms) , restaurant catering for 116 people , residents lounge, stores/services rooms, general office, laundry , kitchen and goods lifts. The hotel would also inclued VIP suites on the 5th & 6th floors.
