KUNDALINI

Kundalini is a travel bag, product of my exploration of my spirituality through out yoga and meditation.
What makes Kundalini special, is the metaphor between each step of the handmade making process and the steps taken during spiritual travels.

The Chakras, which according to Indian thought are the seven centres of spiritual power in the human body, where used as a inspiration. In this case, Kundalini aesthetics was took from Anahata, the chakra of the heart.

Materials: Costeña canvas (a type of Colombian canvas fabric), Rattail cord, roving wool,
black sewing threads, threads for embroidery and texturised polyester fabric.
