This is a pitch project for Maybank launching its own mobile apps. It’s an app for Maybank’s credit card customers to locate their merchant regarding latest and nearest deals or promotions. It also has an augmented reality function (AR mode) to locate the merchants on the map. Basically it works like a GPS that shows the best deals you can get.
Direction 1:
We created an ambassador for this app, Gong Poh Sum (GPS). She’s the know-it-all girl, all the best deals for restaurants, best sales in shopping malls... So when you follow this shopaholic, you won’t miss out.
There will also be a list of activities going on... For on ground activities, she will be hanging around in malls, when you find her, you could get extra rewards such as additional discounts or goodie bags. For the first 1,000 that downloaded the app, they will get a mystery gift as well.
Direction 2:
Everyone is getting crazy over all the deals they can get. Because of this app, the best deals are now coming to look for you. You will always know where and when to dine, shop or travel.
