A Private Collection of Her Life's Work
A gypsy's lifestyle. A carpenter husband and two little boys. Moving around the country more times than we can count. A thirst for freedom to roam and explore. Adventure in the unknown place. Excitement in new friends. Sadness at distance from beloved family and old friends. Color and texture of joy and sorrow. Part old-fashioned girl, part modern woman. Growing flowers, watching birds. Learning, always learning. Teaching, always teaching. Friend to the friendless. Concerned for the little ones in the margins of life. Still the hot meal on the table at sunset. Often warm homemade bread. Gather the children round. All are safely gathered in.

Art is expression. How do I feel? What do I think? How does the world look through my eyes?

Jaci created, drew, painted, illustrated, drafted, designed and sculpted for more than 50 years. She died in May 2011. She always wanted to share her work, but never had many opportunities with all of life's demands.

We are thrilled to be able to share her work with you here on Behance.

Enjoy!
